Tokyo Tower is a communicatinal tower.
It is located about 1 km west of JR Hamamatsucho station.

It was built in 1958, and the height is 333 meters.
This has been one of the popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo.

This has the Main Observatory at a height of 150 meters above the ground and the Special Observatory at a height of 250 meters.
We can ascend to the observatories by the elevator.

We can see the view of Tokyo city in four directions.
If it is fine, you must have a view of Mount Fuji.

In Japan, all terrestrial TV broadcasting services have changed to digital media broadcasting in 2011.
Because Tokyo Tower was too low, Tokyo Skytree (634 meters high) was constructed by 2012 at the east of Asakusa area.

After that, Tokyo Tower is operated as the backup tower when Tokyo Skytree has gone out of transmission function.
